Bolts Slated to Appear in Five Prime-Time Contests including Three at SoFi Stadium; Public On-Sale of Select Single-Game Tickets Opens at 7:00 p.m. PT onChargers.com/tickets/

The National Football League unveiled its complete schedule for the 2025 season on Wednesday, with the Los Angeles Chargers opening the season at Corinthians Arena in So Paulo, Brazil, on Friday, Sept. 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs. In all, the Bolts are slated to be featured in five national prime-time broadcasts, including three games at SoFi Stadium. In addition to the Week 1 prime-time contest, the team plays on Monday Night Football twice, Sunday Night Football once and Thursday Night Football once. Los Angeles opens the season with three-straight games against AFC West opponents, the first time the Bolts begin a season with three consecutive division contests since 1988. The Bolts then close the 2025 slate at Denver, the 16th time in history the Chargers close the season against the Broncos.

In conjunction with the official release of the 2025 schedule, the Chargers will place select single-game tickets on sale to the general public beginning at 7:00 p.m. PT atChargers.com/tickets.

With a record of 37-28 (.69) in season openers, the Chargers will face the Chiefs in Week 1 for the 12th time overall. The bout will be the first NFL game to be streamed live and for free in its entirety on YouTube. It is also the first Week 1 contest ever for the Bolts to take place internationally and will make the Chargers the first NFL franchise to play games on five continents and just the fourth to play games in seven different countries.

The Chargers then face another pair of AFC West opponents in Weeks 2 and 3. Los Angeles first heads to Las Vegas for Monday Night Football on Sept. 15, the 12th Monday night matchup between the teams. The Bolts have a 6-5 record against the Raiders on Monday Night Football. A week later, the Chargers host Denver at SoFi Stadium, having swept the Broncos last season and holding a 38-27 home record in the series.

Los Angeles returns to the road in Week 4 for its first cross-country trip of the season to play the New York Giants, looking to extend its five-game winning streak in the series. The Bolts then face another NFC East opponent, returning home in Week 5 to face Washington having won five of the last six games in the series. A week later, the Chargers head back across the country to face Miami, the first October matchup in South Florida since a Bolts 10-point victory in 2011.
