Mark Andrews scored on a 35-yard run on fourth-and-1 to lift the host Baltimore Ravens to a 23-16 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
The Browns (2-8) stuffed Derrick Henry on third-and-1 so the Ravens (5-5) lined up to push on fourth down with 3:17 left in the game.
Instead of pushing up the middle, Andrews spun around right end and went untouched for the first rushing touchdown of his career as Baltimore earned its fourth straight win.
Shedeur Sanders made his NFL debut for the Browns, playing the entire second half after Cleveland starter Dillon Gabriel went out with a concussion.
Sanders, a rookie out of Colorado and the son of Hall of Famer and current Colorado coach Deion Sanders, completed four of 15 passes for 47 yards and an interception. He also compiled 16 rushing yards on three carries.
Lamar Jackson completed 14 of 25 passes for 193 yards and two interceptions.
The Browns' Miles Garrett had four sacks, giving him 11 in his past four games and 15 for the season.
Before sprinting for the game-winning touchdown, Andrews passed Derrick Mason for the most receiving yards in team history. He finished with three catches for 32 yards and has 5,806 career receiving yards.
The Browns used two mistakes to lead in the first half.
The first came when Ravens rookie punt returner Lajohntay Wester had a hard time catching a punt the wind caught. It bounced off his chest and Grant Delpit pounced on it for the Browns at the Baltimore 6-yard line with 10:16 left in the second quarter.
The Ravens' defense stiffened and the Browns had to settle for a second Andre Szmyt field goal and a 6-3 lead with 8:44 left in the half.
On the next drive, Garrett sacked Jackson for a second time, forcing a second-and-19 from the Baltimore 20.
Jackson dumped it off to Keaton Mitchell, but the ball bounced off his hands. Devin Bush grabbed it out of the air and returned it 23 yards for a score and a 13-3 Browns lead.
It was Bush's first interception in six seasons.
Jackson struck back quickly, driving the Ravens 63 yards in six plays.
On the third play of the drive, Jackson found Zay Flowers wide open in the deep right flat. Flowers cut back left for 45 yards to the Cleveland 3-yard line.
Three players later, Henry bulled over from 1 yard out for his seventh rushing touchdown of the season to cut the Browns lead to 13-10 with 4:17 left before halftime.--Field Level Media
