Los Angeles Dodgers utility man Enrique Hernandez left Tuesday's game against the Colorado Rockies in the fifth inning with a left oblique injury.
Hernandez was playing in just his second game of the season after returning Monday from offseason left elbow surgery.
In the third inning, Hernandez made an awkward cross-body short hop of a ground ball from Willi Castro and made a wild throw to first base. But he led off the bottom of the third with his first home run of the season and added a double in the fourth inning.
He was replaced at third base in the fifth by Miguel Rojas, while Hyeseong Kim entered the game at second base as Rojas changed positions. Los Angeles led 8-1 at the time of Hernandez's departure.
Hernandez was playing his second consecutive game at third while Max Muncy deals with a left wrist injury. Muncy, who has missed each of the past four games, was hit by a pitch in a game Friday at Milwaukee.
